Really I just wanted to get them off the sewing table so I could move on to some serious sewing. I think I'm going to make the one on the right McCalls 6977. I've had this pattern forever, it's copyrighted 1994 but the notched collar and welt pockets intimidated me before but I think I'm going to go for it, with all the resources at my disposal I'm sure it will turn out great. I'm not sure which fabric I will use, either a khaki or a light weight grey polyester, probably the grey because I have a pair of black sling backs that I'm dying to wear. I have a bright turquoise that I want to use to make the one on the left, McCalls 5672. Can you tell that I'm so ready for Spring.
And I leave you with a picture of my first knitted item, it's just a dish cloth, I trimmed it with single crochet. Tomorrow I'm definitely going to the needle crafts group at the library I have to show the librarian my dish cloth lol.

Love the dishcloth. I didn't actually finish one this week because I was having fits with the pattern I was trying. Hope to get back in action this week. Keep up the good work
