Two Days Two Tops

I finished both the green and the red/white floral tops and I'm happy to say that the sewing gods are smiling on me once again.

This top is Butterick 5219 view B. Very easy just like the pattern says, I think that funky fabric I was so in love with was cursed because when I tried to make this top it was a disaster even after removing the facing I found there were holes in the top, I gave up and trashed it. The top that I eventually did make I gave to my DD because I just wasn't feeling it but I'm very happy with this top and will probably make it again or use a different view of this pattern.

I forgot to take my glasses off, oh well.

This top is Simplicity 2892 view F. Love it as you can tell by my enormous grin. I will probably make this one again too.

I found a picture of a finished "shrug this" and ripped mine out because my marker placement was way off but I'm still almost finished with it, I will definitely finish it by the end of the week. I started the shrug on straight needles per the pattern instructions but I HIGHLY recommend using circular needles if you make this pattern. The stitches get very tight on the straight needles and I think that was part of the problem but I'm very happy with it so far and will post it as soon as it's done.
Simplicity 3775 is cut out and waiting so that should be done over the weekend.
Tomorrow is my GS's first day of T-Ball so get ready for some really cute pics.
