Time Flys

I can't believe it's almost the end of August and this is my only FO. Where did the time go. This is from my I'm old enough to have my own vintage pattern collection--Butterick 6205. The fabric is from my Texas shopping spree, it's actually a very fine hounds tooth, although the picture doesn't show it.





You have to forgive the "I'll get you my pretty" hair, if you don't know that's from the witch in the Wizard of Oz, it's been awfully humid here but I'm going to heat it into submission tonight. As you can see I didn't do cuffs, I just left the sleeves long and did a narrow hem. I wasn't too sure about the pleat in the skirt but I really like it.

KMQ, I'm afraid this will have to be my cyber bridesmaid dress because I don't think I can get anything else finished before the 30th. I'm very happy to see you've started on your dress I was getting a little concerned.
