This is why I blog

As I was doing my daily reads I ran across this top on Adrienne's blog and that was all the inspiration I needed. I found this remnant while pulling out all my pj fabric and thought it was a good candidate for a MOT. Now my only dilemma is wide belt or.....

Skinny belt. Obviously I'm not going to wear it with my knitted socks and red sweat pants lol. I've had this fabric FOREVER, at first I couldn't remember when/where or what I made out of it but then I remembered I made a top and leggings sometime in the 90's.

I remembered because I found this stretch lace that matched the fabric, I think I used the lace as trim on the leggings, I did say it was the early 90's didn't I. I only have this tiny piece left after using it on my needle case.

I love the 3/4 inch sleeves on Adrienne's top but I'm in Ohio and it's November so long sleeves were a must. And this is why I love to blog I think we all appreciate each other's interpretation of a pattern and the inspiration that you get from seeing the limitless possibilities.
