Drop Back and Punt

I think that's what I'm going to have to do with Butterick 5222 and it is SuperBowl Sunday I needed a football analogy lol. I thought I would never make this pattern because it received a terrible blog review but after making Simplicity 2700 I decided that a pant pattern with side pockets would be a better fit considering my fitting issues.

The fit is better no gaping on the side but it still needs some tweaking the front crotch is a little weird but with a little work I think I could have a TNT pants pattern. I made the waistband a little thicker I don't like thin waistbands. I've been taking notes from all the wonderful bloggers who detail their fitting techniques; I just want to say thank you I will definitely incorporate your suggestions with my next pair.



I just had to share, I make killer burgers, my kids have dubbed these "Monster Burgers" they're really good and I can't take all the credit it's something I saw on Food Network, they put the cheese on the inside, I use sharp cheddar on the inside and regular American on top but my seasonings are my own all I'm saying is Worcester sauce and dried minced onions, they probably are literally "killer burgers".

I finally made a real commitment to knitting and purchased the Boye NeedleMaster, I did use my 40% off coupon but this was still a big purchase for me. I also purchased the Boye suede slipper sole and I got totally frustrated with the crochet pattern so I'm going to try the knitted pattern.
