Skirts Done Now What

I finished this corduroy skirt using Butterick 5782 circa 1987. Initially I wanted to make a pair of pants out of this fabric but considering all the fitting issues I've been having and after seeing Kathi's corduroy skirt I decided to copy.

Love this lining fabric, it has oriental characters on it and the name Shulan, this has to be the lightest corduroy fabric I've ever come across so not lining it wasn't an option. I wasn't smart enough to make the lining piece using the pocket front and skirt front so I just eliminated the pleats on the front lining. I gave it a good press but didn't take another picture.

Anybody know what this says?

Now I have to decide which blouse pattern to use.

The contenders:

McCalls Stitch and Save 5450, I like the side detail

McCalls 5522, I've wanted to make this since seeing Rachael's version.

And lastly Butterick 4659 which will probably be the one I make, I've made view B before and really like the way it came out, if I use this one I'll make view D.

In case you forgot this is the blouse fabric.

I hope everyone has a Happy Valentine's Day.

You did a fab job on that skirt. Love the idea of lining it.

I like this very much. The colours in your blouse fabric are lovely, too.

Nice skirt! I believe I have that pattern. I like the pleats on the sides. Very nice.

The skirt came out great.. I like M5450 for the skirt, but I'm sure whichever one you pick will look great with it.
