I know I've posted about my database during the design/implementation phase but I just have to say how much I love it. I know it's not for everyone you need to be an above average geek but this is what I do and I love being able to filter for a specific pattern type or just click through and see what's available. They're all filed numerically in my file cabinet, makes everything very handy. The hardest part was the inital upload now I make sure I add new patterns as I purchase them. Speaking of new patterns....
These two are dualing to be my next project, the black and white is houndstooth, it looks like a check in the pic. Can't make up my mind, what do you think?

I was so done with the top I had no desire to model it hopefully I will get pictures soon. The pants look red in the photo but they're actually rust colored.
Happy Crafting.

Love that square neckline.
If you're ever going to market this database, I'll be the first in line to buy a copy! I've tried making my own, but I can't master Microsoft Access. I want to be able to search by style (ie skirt, dress, top) and by fabric type (knit, woven etc). I agree with Faye, the square neckline is great.
A pattern database is a terrific tool. I can't imagine how long it would take to enter all the patterns that most of us have. Once it's done though, it would be great!
I made the McCall red jacket pattern. I didn't like the way the facing was done, and I changed that. It is a cute jacket otherwise.
I think that top is cute... I love the square neckline. I'm so glad you posted about your database again because this is the first time I'm reading about it. What a great idea! Hmm... my only problem is that I have a Mac and I don't think I can get Microsoft Access on it. I'll have to think about this one.
I love how your top turned out. I'm wearing a neckline like that today at work. I also love the cords. Very comfy. Thanks for the tip you gave me. I'm feeling a lot better about using the puff paint now. I wasn't sure it was going to work. I did some fabric washing and pattern cutting this morning before work. Hopefully I'll have some progress by the weekend.
Love the database, I remember when you last mentioned it. It looks good from the pictures.
Love the database! Please let us know how you did it or when you can sell it to us! LOL
I know it is cold now, but the first really hot day - you will be so happy to have that top all done! It looks great - glad your serger came to the rescue! Cheers! Evelyn
The top is great! I am so impressed with the data base!
I'm liking the 2703 pattern for your next project!
Oh, and above average geekiness or not, I'm salivating over your database!
I have both of the patterns you are showing for upcoming projects, They are both nice looking patterns; I think you ought to go for the one on the left.
