I wanted to make this as soon as I saw it in
Chadwick's. I didn't obsess over matching the plaids like I usually do, it's just a simple summer top but they match up where it matters. The pattern is Butterick 5465, view A modified of course.

The fabric was gifted to me by Ms. Peggy last year. This is my first time using the Dritz eyelet kit. It's a little unnerving putting holes in something you just spend an hour making but they came out okay, just remember to use a very small hole, you want it just large enough to get the eyelet through.

The garden is in and planted.

Grilling out today so I can have tomorrow to sew.

That looks like a cool and comfy top for summer! Enjoy wearing that!
That looks great. Isn't Chadwicks good inspiration?
I love madras plaid. I have made one shirt in madras this spring, and plan to make more! Gorgeous!
