Simplicity 2560 - Finished Pics

Not much sewing going on this weekend but here are some finished pics of the cardi. I was on the fench about the sleeves but once I wore it they won me over, I also received a lot of "you made that" compliments.

Love the tank, please ignore those weird underarm creases.

Back in Basic Black

Simplicity 2560 view A, it will have the sleeves from view B when I finish it tomorrow.

I used Simplicity 2603 for the shell.

The pattern didn't call for a button but I had to figure out a way to use this button because it matched the shell perfectly. I can't take credit for the closure idea it's used on one of the many other cardigan patterns I purchased.

The cable sweater is almost finished. I'm adding ribbon to reinforce the front bands before sewing on the clasp.

I'm happy with the way it came out, I used the Shrug This pattern and made the sleeves longer and added the cable to the bottom.

It seems like I haven't posted in forever and life just kept moving right along, my DD turned 28, this is her hang over picture. Yea, the t-shirt it says what you think it does, what can I say, I didn't raise her like that.

My GS is playing football, too cute. They won 32 to zip.


So cute.


I'm so happy to have my computer back, I even have a back-up because that can't happen again.

Technical Difficulties

I'm still here but my computer is on the fritz. Not much sewing going on, almost finished with the cable sweater. Hopefully will be back soon.
