Top with some Pop

Pop of color that is, this is Vogue 8597, one of the 80+ Vogue patterns I purchased when JoAnns consolidated their stores. The fabric is from Hancocks, I don't remember how much it was but it was on sale.

The pattern description is true, it is very easy, took maybe 2-3 hours tops (pun intended).

I think I've found this year's hat, it's Bellezza a free download from Raverly. The yarn is Vanna's choice cranberry. This picture is more true to color that the one below.

It's a great pattern but you do have to pay attention, I had to rip it out twice before I finally got it right.

I made to many to count Star Crossed slouchy berets but I never made one for myself I felt it wasn't age appropriate I don't know why but I feel like Bellezza is and this ones mine, funny because the designer said she came up with this pattern because she lost her beloved Star Crossed slouchy beret.

I started to title this post "Just call me Stella" because I've been trying to get my groove back but we all know how that story ended, not a good reference.

I hope everyone had a great crafty weekend. Be blessed.

Cute top! I can understand trying to get your groove back. I feel like I'm digging out of a deep hole. I am sewing and hope to keep sewing. I'll be posting some finished pieces soon.

I love that beret but I can't find it anywhere on Ravelry! I made a similar purple top. It's a great colour!

What a pretty top, I especially like the cowl-like neckline. Great color too.
