Just Sew Something

This great second hand advice came from Andrea at Knit-Knac by way of Cenetta/Mahogany Stylist. So that's what I did, this is Vogue 8688, the fabric was gifted from Trudi.

Can I make you believe that I did this on purpose. While cutting this out I thought this would happen but I cut it out anyway, horizontal in the front and vertical in the back, I have enough fabric to get it right so I might try this again The pattern is super easy.

I also made another Vogue 8597 which went straight to the donate bag, I don't know what happened, perhaps this fabric didn't have the same amount of stretch as the first one, again it's donated fabric and I have more than enough for another try.

This non-winter has really thrown off my sewing, no measurable snow and it's the end of February. I'm so looking forward to Spring.

Hi there Ms. Lady.... I like the style lines of that stripe blouse... think of the horizontal stripes as a designer element.

What's the problem. I don't see anything wrong with the stripes going in different directions.
