Red, White and Navy Blue

As you can see I finished my third version of Butterick 5046 and I love it just as much as the others.

On the second sheer version I didn't line the sleeves and felt that they needed to be lined, I only lined the sleeves about half and I really like the effect. It gives the shoulders stability but the sleeve is still fluttery.

Another version of Butterick 5221, I guess I can't call this my TNT pattern because I am always tweaking the fit due to my constant weight fluctuations. These fit great, I had to make another pair of navy because I can't fit the ones I made last year. I apologize for the hanger picture you really can't tell anything from it, I will try to get pics soon.

I got this book from my library and I think I will purchase it. Sandra Betzina is my all time favorite sewing hero. I still have articles that I saved from her weekly newspaper column and I loved her sewing program on HGTV.   BTW, you can have a week long sewing vacation with Sandra for $2540.00 (shared room) too rich for me but I can't wait for PR weekend next year, she's going to be the guest speaker.

I wanted to try this adjustment but I had already cut out my pockets, I will definitely try this on my next pair of pants.
I hope everyone had a great weekend.

I think the idea of half lining the sleeves is great. It's a lovely top.
