Great Fitting Pants thanks to Blogland

With some help from a tutorial posted on Victoria's blog, I'm happy to say that these pants fit great. She posted a link to a tutorial on pants fitting after watching it I decided to try this Connie Crawford pattern again, it's Butterick 5222. The tutorial said to make all your fitting adjustments on the side seams. I must have tried them one at least 15 times before getting it just right but it was worth it.

I have this top cut out and waiting to go with the pants but I don't think I'm going to get to it this weekend. I only had about 1 1/4 yard of this fabric so this pattern won out. I'm making view D without the tie.

I've made 1/2 dozen booties, they're so cute and only take a couple of hours or less to finish a pair, it's a good way to use up leftover yarn. I think the variegated pair will be cute with the cupcake fabric.

I'm going to make the pink jumper.

This is on my needles "Here's my Heart Cardi", it's a free pattern from Cascade yarns. I took this picture a couple of weeks ago. I should be done soon.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

OMG! You are a busy woman. Pants fitting is truly an adventure, but so worth it. I love the cute booties in a beautiful rainbow of colors. That little sweater is coming along nicely! Looking forward to the finished product.
Do you have any advice on how I can move my knitting from scarves(simple ribs) to sweaters?
