I'm Gelin' and Daddy needs a new robe

A couple of years ago I made pj's with matching slippers for Christmas gifts and they were very popular however the slipper design needed some improvement as they would often end up at the end of the stairs long before I did and had no support, so I searched the internet and found the most amazing slipper pattern here. Why didn't I think of inserting a sole insert, I purchased the gel soles and they are amazing. I used flannel, fleece for the lining and faux shearling. These are comfortable and warm, though I'm not sure about washing them with the gel insoles. I can't wait to make the matching pjs.

We're heading to Texas for Thanksgiving and my Father requested (demanded) a new robe. I found this fabric at JoAnns and used my 40% off coupon but it still took all 5 yards to make it. I'm sure he will love it.
