What no Blitz!

Every year I usually make at least 5 pairs of boys pj's but with trying to get ready for my grand-daughter's arrival there hasn't been time for much else. I did manage to squeak out one pair for my friend.

The pattern is McCalls 4979. Since I've made it too many times to count they go together very quickly. I love the fabric, I got it at JoAnns. If it wasn't on sale I'm sure I used a coupon but I don't remember how much it cost. I also made matching slippers because they're just so darn cute. I love the pair I made for myself, they're so warm. I'm sure she will love them too. Here's the link again if anyone's interested.
I made a couple more pair of booties, they're the free Bernat pattern. I omitted the pom-poms.

I made another pair and went down a needle size the first pair seemed a little big for newborn. This is the same yarn, it's variegated so they don't look like they came from the same skein of yarn.

I needed a break from all the baby stuff so I've started  the Double V Cardigan. I think this is my 5th attempt but so far so good.

That's about it for me.I hope to get a lot of sewing done over the New Year's holiday.

Wishing everyone a very blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
