Eating Pins: Silver and Gold

I've been a terrible blogger but sometimes life gets in the way. There hasn't been a lot of sewing going on but I do hope to finish a dress I started last year around the holiday's for a party on Saturday, which I promise to post. I have been knitting, these scarfs are so popular. I made the silver one as a gift but it was just to pretty to give away so I made another one and kept this one for myself.

My friend gave me this yarn for my birthday. She gave me the gold and a variegated one. When she gave me the yarn I asked her which one did she want lol. I gave her the variegated one and it was beautiful on her. I bought more of than to make myself one which I'm working on now.

I also finished a baby blanket. It's Saurey, a free pattern from Berroco. Once I got the lace pattern down this was a fun and (for me) fast knit. I also made a pair of booties but didn't get a picture before giving them away.
